To whom do the exemptions from the ban on entry to the workplaces and other premises of the employer apply in accordance with the latest decrees of the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic?

Written by Simona Kubišová

In order to ensure the protection of life and health and to prevent the uncontrollable spread of COVID-19, the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic adopted other measures related to the restriction of the movement of persons. This will come into effect as of the 9th November 2020 05:00 to 15th November 2020 01:00 .

In light of the new anti-pandemic measures which are currently being executed, or those already being adopted are changing, which of course we do not blame anyone for the purpose of their implementation, but it can be confusing, which is why we have decided, with this article, - to give you a list of certain groups of people to whom the exceptions to the ban on entry to the employer's workplaces and other premises apply.

  1. In the so-called "Green Districts", the restriction does not apply to a person who can prove with a certificate of negative result of RT-PCR test performed from 29 October to 8 November 2020 or with a certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic with a negative antigen test performed from 29 October to 1 November 2020 by entities participating in the nationwide testing called "Shared Responsibility".
  2. In the so-called "Red Districts", the restriction does not apply to a person who can prove with a certificate of negative result of RT-PCR test performed from 7 November to 8 November 2020 or with a certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic with a negative antigen test performed from 6 November to 8 November 2020 to entities participating in the nationwide testing called "Shared Responsibility".
  3. Selection of other groups of persons covered by the exemption (this applies to both the green and the red district):
  • the restriction does not apply to a person who can be proved by a certificate of negative result of RT-PCR test or a certificate of negative result of antigen test for COVID-19 performed by a subject certifying the result of a test on a certificate issued by the Ministry of Health performed from 9 November to 15 November 2020,
  • the restriction does not apply to a person who has overcome COVID-19 and has proof of overcoming it not older than three months,
  • the restriction does not apply to a person who is shown to have been diagnosed with COVID-19 between 1 August 2020 and 23 October 2020,
  • the restriction does not apply to a person whose medical condition or medical contraindication does not allow the COVID-19 test to be performed,
  • the restriction does not apply to a person who was prescribed isolation at home by the regional public health authority or ordered incapacity for work due to quarantine by his general practitioner for adults or general practitioner for children and adolescents during 7 November and 8 November 2020 and did not have to undergo a test for COVID-19 and others.

However, the calculation of these exceptions is not exhaustive, but instead aims to clarify vague and problematic exceptions.
