Peter Neštepný, partner of Stentors, attended the Corporate Counsel and Compliance Exchange in Berlin.

More than 80 of Europe’s leading General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officers of the biggest international companies were there to discuss strategies and solutions with the aim of transforming In-house legal departments and to outline the latest development in In-house counselling.

Peter spent a day in fruitful discussions and had a great opportunity to share his ideas with professionals across Europe. The main theme of the event was the future of providing legal services and the trend of outsourcing only more complex and difficult legal matters. "I was also amazed by the latest legal technology and the new possibilities and efficiency it brings to a legal environment. On the other hand, I'm certainly not glamourize such tweaks, which was also the part of the discussion," said Peter.

Not only did he have the opportunity to meet and discuss with like-minded professionals, but the facilitation of such meetings was a pleasure to be party of. Roundtable discussions, panel debates and one-to-one business meetings made the event refreshing and efficient.

Not all forums, even those with the highest level of management run well with regard to having a proper structure in place to ensure well invested time. But as Peter articulated, the Corporate Counsel and Compliance Exchange in Berlin was an event well-worth attending.
