Pro Bono activities are a significant part of our practice, but nowadays, more than ever before, we stick to the motto that we help as best we can - with legal advice. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have provided our know-how free of charge in three projects:

• Hack the crisis (Online Hackathon) - 48-hour virtual hackathon, in which during the weekend 3rd - 5th April 2020, the teams addressed the problems and challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We joined the project as a mentor, i.e. an expert in the legal field, thanks to the Pontis Foundation.
• Legal assistance in the quarantine - a nationwide online activity under the auspices of the Slovak Bar Association adapted to measures related to COVID-19. In this project, 305 lawyers together managed to resolve more than 1,300 legal issues free of charge.
• Student legal counseling during a pandemic - is an initiative of the Faculty of Law of Comenius University. Under the expert guidance of lawyers, students prepare legal analyses free of charge, which serve as a guidance for solving legal problems for applicants for legal aid in connection with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

We are glad to be a part of the wave of solidarity and to lend a helping hand to members of the community. We are ready to continue working on similar projects.
