JUDr. Michal Hulena, partner of Stentors law firm, shall be one of the speakers at this workshop which bears relevance to the new Regulation of the European Union on the clinical development of medical products and the forthcoming amendment to the act on drugs. The workshop will be held on 6 November 2018 at 9:00am in Roset Boutique Hotel. The lecture will focus on significant components of the legislative framework such as changes in practice which the amendment will introduce, as well as the functioning of the systems in neighbouring states. In addition to JUDr. Michal Hulena, there’ll be two other speakers: PharmDr. Mgr. Matej Petrovič (co-author of the latest amendment to Act No. 362/2011 Coll. - Act on Drugs and Medical Devices) and MUDr. Branislav Šutovský (Independent Pharmaceutical Professional / Clinical Research Manager) both of whom shall be in attendance.

JUDr. Michal Hulena provides long-term legal advice to several health care providers, primarily relating to the legal framework in their businesses, including the licensing of medical devices and the treatment of blood or blood tissues. Amongst the aforementioned, as a legal representative, he also deals with various issues concerning nutritional supplements or clinical development of medical products. Michal often represents these clients in proceedings before state authorities.

The workshop itself is designed for the professional public; including lawyers, physicians, legal hospital staff, healthcare operators, and managers or health care professionals both in related or non-health related professions.
